RBY soars, GE generates shares, BSDM falters

Rubicon Minerals Corporation (AMEX: RBY) gained 30.7 percent in price early Monday afternoon to $5.79. Volume just after noon was 7,349,954 shares, galloping past its three-month average share volume of 917,905. The Toronto-based miner provided a NI 43-101 compliant inferred mineral resource estimate for the F2 Gold System, part of its 100%-owned Phoenix Gold Project located in the heart of the prolific Red Lake Gold District of Ontario, an inferred resource of more than 6.2 million tonnes, at a grade of 20.1 grams per ton gold.

General Electric Company (NYSE: GE) was among late Monday noon hour’s volume leaders, trading in 27,132,962 shares, quickly nearing its three-month average share volume of 57,383,200. The electric behemoth was flat in price to $15.80. GE Healthcare announced today the 510k clearance of its next generation wireless, digital X-ray detector at the 96TH annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in Chicago.

BSD Medical Corp. (NasdaqGM: BSDM) fell in price early Monday afternoon by 12.86 percent to $4.88. Volume by noon was 1,453,585 shares, edging past its three-month average share volume of 1,208,060. BSDM announced today that it has filed its Annual Report on Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended August 31.

PGEC zooms, HLWX sells widely, OKME less than OK

Prestige Capital Corp. (OTCBB: PGEC) rocketed higher by 2,026.32 percent to $1.01. Volume, though, was a scant 500 shares in late morning trading on Monday. The company based in Fort Lee, New Jersey, established in 1985, is a nationwide factoring firm that serves small and mid-size companies which do not yet qualify for traditional bank financing,

Helix Wind Corp. (OTCBB: HLXW) traded in 101, 300,000 shares, and leaped in price 130 percent in late morning trading Monday to 23-100ths of a cent. The Poway, Calif.-based renewable energy company, confirmed today what many people saw and heard discussed on Monday Night Football were actual renderings of Helix Wind turbines lining the top of Lincoln Financial Field.

Oak Ridge MicroEnergy Inc. New (OTCBB: OKME) fell to almost half its Friday closing price by midday Monday, losing 98.8 percent to six cents, on 1,010 shares. OKME, based in Salt Lake City, develops and produces custom designed thin film lithium and lithium-ion batteries that are ideally suited for a variety of applications where a small power source is needed.

END ends well, YHOO trades widely, BBXT fades

Endeavor International Corporation (NYSE: END) gained 4.4 percent in price in Thursday afternoon trade to close at $8.77 Volume of 102,795 shares was below its usual share volume of 564,506. The Houston-based oil and gas exploration and production company announced Wednesday a one-for-seven share consolidation.

Yahoo Corp. (NasdaqGS: YHOO) was among Thursday’s volume leaders, trading in 45,688,242 shares Thursday afternoon, nearly doubling its usual daily volume of 23,853,700 shares. Shares of the search engine company surge 5.2 percent to close at $16.99. Wednesday, Tippr, which operates Tippr.com, one of the largest group buying sites on the Internet, today announced a partnership with Yahoo!, Inc. to feature Tippr.com deals on Yahoo!’s new Local Offers program.

BankAtlantic Bancorp Inc. (NasdaqGM: BBXT) fell in price Thursday by 14.55 percent to $7.39. Volume of 24,799 shares was more than eight times the company’s usual daily volume.

IDT moves up, CSCO passes volume avg., CRC falls

IDT Corporation (NYSE: IDT) increased 9.69 percent in price Wednesday to $22.18. Volume was 587,063 shares, more than doubling its daily average. IDT is a consumer services company with operations primarily in the telecommunications and energy industries

Cisco Systems Inc. (NasdaqGS: CSCO) Wednesday dealt in 71,003,842 shares, surpassing its three-month daily average of 67,852,400. CSCO shares inched forward 0.69 percent to $19.57. CSCO today announced that it leads in total USGv6 certification for routers, switches and firewalls, aligning with President Barack Obama’s recent directive that all U.S. government agencies upgrade their IT infrastructures in support of Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), as the remaining pool of IPv4 addresses shrinks.

Chromcraft Revington Inc. (AMEX: CRC) fell in price Wednesday afternoon by 18.5 percent to $1.63. Volume of 40,675 shares, dwarfed its three-month daily average of 3,592. Tuesday, CRC reported sales of $13,808,000 and a net loss of $1,933,000 for the three months ended October 2, 2010 as compared to sales of $16,030,000 and a net loss of $979,000 for the prior year period.

TTGL has banner day, SMKY smokin’, ECCE has wings clipped

Titan Global Holdings, Inc. (Pink Sheets: TTGL) screamed higher in late afternoon trading Monday, gaining 5,900 percent in price to six-10ths of a cent. Volume so far Monday is 32,738 shares.

Smoky Market Foods, Inc. (OTCBB: SMKY) rocketed in price 500 percent Monday to six-10ths of a cent. Volume in the stock was 995,000 shares.

Eagle Ford Oil & Gas, Corp. (OTCBB: ECCE) faded in price 87.18 percent to 10 cents Monday afternoon. Volume was 4,534 shares. Houston-based ECCE announced last week a drilling update for the two wells in the Eagle Ford Shale formation located in Live Oak County in South Texas. The Kellam#2H has been successfully completed and is currently producing.
