IBCP higher, BAC busy, MCP downward

Independent Bank Corp. (Nasdaq: IBCP) shot 42 percent in price Thursday to $2.30. Volume of 859,892 shares trounced its daily average of 140,452. IBCP is the holding company of Independent Bank, a Michigan-based community bank.

Bank of America (NYSE: BAC) was again among the volume leaders, trading in 156,548,729 shares, catching up on a full-day average of 218,378,000. Prices for the stock lost one percent to $14.36.

Molycorp Inc. (NYSE: MCP) fell 11% to $54.00 Thursday, on volume of 9,154,013 shares, better than double its daily average. Colorado-based MCP is the only rare earth oxide, or REO, producer in the Western Hemisphere.

STLY steams along, INTC has high volume, ARSD falls

Stanley Furniture Company Inc. (Nasdaq: STLY) soared 30.5 percent in price Wednesday to $4.49. Volume was 614,486 shares, trounced its normal all-day average of 43,612. STLY is a leading designer and manufacturer of wood furniture targeted at the premium price range of the residential market.

Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) was a volume leader Wednesday, trading in 49,231,123 shares, even so, INTC trailed its daily average of 54,447,500. Prices for the stock slid 0.9 percent to $20.97. INTC introduced its game-changing 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ processor family today at a press conference at the Consumer Electronics Show.

Arabian American Development Company (Nasdaq: ARSD) dropped 7.8 percent Wednesday to $4.61, on volume of 106,085 shares, more than five times its full-day average. ARSD owns and operates a petrochemical facility located in southeast Texas just north of Beaumont which specializes in high purity petrochemical solvents and other solvent type manufacturing.

SUIP rises, PSPW sets, NUBL mobile

Sunrise Mining Corp. (OTCBB: SUIP) leaped ahead 68.2 percent in mid-Wednesday trading to 4.34 cents. Volume for the stock was 34,490 shares showed momentum toward its all-day average of 14,154. The Company is a mining resource company that currently is working to identify and develop some projects in Asia.

Prime Sun Power Inc. (OTCBB: PSPW) saw its shares halved by midday Wednesday to 10 cents, on volume of 27,000, in contrast to an all-day average of 63,693 shares. PSPW is a development stage company, which plans to provide solar power, wind power and other renewable energies.

Numobile Inc. (OTCBB: NUBL) traded in 91.4 million shares Wednesday, trampling over an all-day average of 10.2 million. Prices for the stock slid, however, by 7.7 percent to 12-100ths of a cent. The company is determined to roll up a portfolio of innovative software solutions for the smartphone and mobile computing market.


MCP, BAC rally, ZLC fades

Molycorp Inc. (NYSE: MCP) gained 10.98 percent in price Monday to $55.38. Volume of 2,794,623 shares trailed only slightly its all-day average of 3,721,040. Colorado-based Molycorp, Inc. is the only rare earth oxide, or REO, producer in the Western Hemisphere and currently produces approximately 3,000 metric tons of commercial rare earth materials per year.

Bank of America Corp. (NYSE: BAC) traded in 93,476,332 shares catching up on its daily average of 212,722,000. Prices for the stock gained 4.87 percent to $13.99, following its announcement that it has agreed to buy back the loans sold by Countrywide Financial Corp., which it acquired during the financial crisis.

Zale Corp. (NYSE: ZLC) went south Monday, losing 6.10 percent in price to $4.00, on volume of 820,376 shares, pulling ahead of its full-day average of 794,515. ZLC is a leading specialty retailer of diamonds and other jewelry products in North America, operating approximately 1,900 retail locations throughout the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico, as well as online.

MZBYE jumps, CMGR busy, UGDM demurs

Mezabay International Inc. (OTCBB: MZBYE) leaped in price 62.5 percent to 21-100ths of a cent. Volume was 6.69 million shares, towering over its normal volume average of 603,264 shares a day. The Company is engaged in the e-commerce business including IT consulting, programming and display advertising services.

Camelot Entertainment Group Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) was busy in Wednesday trading, with 160.69 million shares changing hands, just shy of its usual daily average of 180.7 million. CMGR projects gross sales for 2010 to exceed $2,200,000, with revenues expected to exceed $500,000.

Universal Gold Mining Corp. (OTCBB: UGDM) scaled back 54.3 percent to 16 cents Wednesday, on volume of 58,000 shares, falling short of its daily average of 71, 543. UGDM is a gold exploration and development company aiming to develop a diversified portfolio of gold mining assets in frontier territories.
