DEXO surges, CSCO selling, MTSN falters

Dex One Corporation (NYSE: DEXO) climbed 13.5 percent in price Wednesday to $8.75. Volume of 950,282 shares surpassed its all-day average of 621,472. The marketing consulting firm helps local businesses reach, win and keep ready-to-buy customers.

Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO) was a volume whiz Wednesday, trading in 50,051,376 shares, still below its daily average of 70,740,300. Prices for the stock gained 1.2 percent to $20.76. CSCO has a news conference planned for today in Las Vegas, during which it will make an announcement regarding its role in helping service providers and content providers meet the challenges and opportunities presented by the convergence of pay TV, online and on-demand video.

Mattson Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: MTSN) dropped 10.2 percent Wednesday to $2.30, on volume of 3,698,718 shares, nearly seven times its full-day average. MTSN, based in Fremont, Calif., is a leading supplier of advanced process equipment used to manufacture semiconductors.

OXM celebrates, CSCO busy, BIOF backslides

Oxford Industries, Inc. (NYSE: OXM) galloped ahead 23.91 percent in price Wednesday to $27.47. Volume of 799,682 shares swamped its daily average of 143,603. OXM is an international apparel design, sourcing and marketing company.

Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO) traded in 30,591,580 shares Wednesday, less than half, however, of its daily average of 71,916,500. Share prices for CSCO were flat at $19.53.

BioFuel Energy Corp. (Nasdaq: BIOF) fell 16.08 percent in price Wednesday to $1.67, on volume of 738,567 shares, compared to a full-day average of 491,308. The Denver-based BIOF currently has two 115 million gallons per year ethanol plants in the Midwestern corn belt.

CHTP jumps, CSCO trades wide, BLTI tumbles

Celsion Corp. (NasdaqCM: CLSN) surrendered 11.38 percent Wednesday afternoon to $2.18. Volume of 384,651 shares quadrupled its full-day average and then some. CLSN is a biotechnology drug development company based in Columbia, Md.
