EHTH healthy, SIRI booms, TSTY baked

E-Health Inc. (Nasdaq: EHTH) shares rallied 14.5% to $13.33. Volume was 1.8 million shares, triumphing over a daily average of 351,000, after the online health-insurance provider reported fourth-quarter profit that beat forecasts, though it gave a more pessimistic view of 2011 earnings than analysts had forecasted.

Sirius XM Radio Inc. (Nasdaq: SIRI) traded in 38.3 million shares Thursday, catching up on its daily average of 51.4 million, SIRI prices improved 0.6% to $1.80.

Tasty Baking Company (Nasdaq: TSTY) lost 10.7% in price Thursday to $2.34. Volume was 299,365 shares, more than four times its daily average.

AAWW jumps, SIRI steady, ENOC bails

Atlas Air Worldwide Holdings (Nasdaq: AAWW) share prices climbed 16.9% to $65.85. Volume was 773,502, more than three times its all-day volume, after it reported its fourth-quarter earnings increased 47% on improving airfreight demand, especially out of Asia.

Sirius XM Radio Inc. (Nasdaq: SIRI) traded in 52.6 million shares Monday, compared to a daily average of 72.8 million. Share prices inched up 0.3% to $1.85, one day ahead of the company’s fourth-quarter report. Sirius is slated to release its earnings numbers on Tuesday.

EnerNOC Inc. (Nasdaq: ENOC) faded 12.6% to $17.91 Monday, on volume of 3.6 million shares, or 10 times its all-day volume, as an analyst cut its rating and price target for the company due to a billing issue that may create problems for the energy company.

JDSU joyful, SIRI does serious volume, USNA sells off

JDS Uniphase Corp. (Nasdaq: JDSU) shares climbed 7.1% to $24.47, on volume of 24.5 million shares, compared to a daily average of 5.4 million. The maker of optical networking equipment reported great earnings last week, and shares are up an astonishing 36% since then.

Sirius XM Radio Inc. (Nasdaq: SIRI) traded in 30 million shares Wednesday, still trailing its daily average of 49.1 million. Prices dipped 0.8% to $1.77, after the company hinted revenues will beat expectations on next week’s release of “Valentine’s Radio,” a four-day, limited-run channel.

USANA Health Sciences Inc. (NYSE: USNA) shares faded 12.5% to $35.20 Wednesday. Volume of 273,149 shares towered over a full-day average of 41,636, after announcing its fourth-quarter profit improved 21% over the year before.

PDE proud, SIRI loud, ONAV down

Pride International Inc. (NYSE: PDE) shares rose 16.2 per cent to $39.98, on volume of 15.5 million, thumping its two-million-share daily average, on news that the offshore oil driller will be acquired by Ensco PLC (NYSE: ESV) in a cash-and-stock deal worth $41.60 a share. Ensco shares slid 3.8 percent to $52.35.

Sirius XM Radio Inc. (Nasdaq: SIRI) was active Monday, trading in 18.6 million shares, catching up on a daily average of 52.1 million. Share prices added 1.7 percent to $1.79.

Omega Navigation Enterprises Inc. (Nasdaq: ONAV) lost 6.2 percent Monday to $1.06. Volume was 221,053 shares, nearly four times its normal daily average. ONAV is a provider of global marine transportation services focusing on product tankers.

HNSN flies, SIRI trades, ANW sinks

Hansen Medical Inc. (Nasdaq: HNSN) shares rocketed up 43.7 percent to $2.27, on volumes of 8.9 million, thundering ahead of its full-day average of 465,000, after Philips acquired the rights to market the company’s technology.

Sirius XM Radio Inc. (Nasdaq: SIRI) traded in 51.2 million Thursday, catching an all-day average of 52.3 million. Share prices gained 3.1 percent to $1.77.

Aegean Marine Petroleum Network (NYSE: ANW) slid in price Thursday by 18.5 percent to $8.88. Volume was 3.7 million or nearly four times its daily average, after announcing fourth quarter financials.
