ASEN, RPFG leap, BKTK, Zeox fail to get traction

American Standard Energy Corp. (OTCBB: ASEN) catapulted itself in price 5,200 percent to $2.65 early Wednesday, on volume of 25,300 shares.

Rainier Pacific Financial Group, Inc. (Pink Sheets: RPFG) ballooned 6,850 percent in price Wednesday afternoon to 1.39 cents, on volumes of 33,850. Its 52-week trading range has peaked at 56 cents.

Black Tusk Minerals, Inc. (Pink Sheets: BKTK) skidded 5.88 percent in price mid-afternoon Wednesday to 16 cents, on scant volume of 16 shares. Latest news for this Vancouver-based exploration company’s stock concerned a one-for-50 reverse stock split back in October.

Zeox Corporation (Pink Sheets: ZOXCF) fell 82.64 percent in price to half a cent mid-afternoon Wednesday, on volume of 30,000 shares. The Kelowna, B.C.-based junior miner’s 52-week trading range has peaked around 23.6 cents

OCOL hurtles, SGAMY sells, CTLI gets bruised

Bering Exploration Inc. (Pink Sheets: OCOL) formerly Oncolin Therapeutics, Inc.,  leaped in price by 29.03 percent mid-morning Wednesday to 40 cents. Volume was a scant 1,300 shares. The Houston-based oil company announced in late October that it has successfully drilled its first well on its South Texas prospect which has potential gross reserves of 5,000,000 barrels of oil and 46 BCF of natural gas.

Sega Sammy Holdings Inc. (Pink Sheets: SGAMY) saw 1,121,500 of its shares change hands in early trading Wednesday. The game magnate’s stock stumbled in price 1.49 percent to $3.96, still in the upper regions of a 52-week range that peaked at $4.13.

Compress Technologies Inc. (Pink Sheets: CTLI) took a header in the early hours Wednesday, losing 93.68 percent in price to 11 cents. Volume was 22,500 shares for a stock that peaked for the last 52 weeks at $2.00. CTLI is a Pompano Beach, Florida-area technology-based company.

Shares of Pervasip Corp. (OTCBB: PVSP) were up 40 percent from Monday’s closing price, on Tuesday after the company announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, VoX Communications Corp. released a new Voice over IP (VoIP) application for Android®. Unlike other VoIP applications that require Wi-Fi, the Android application developed by Vox Communications, and Nimbuzz, also runs on 3G networks.  Pervasip is a partner in Nimbuzz’s SIP Premium Affiliate Partner Program that was established to enable 3rd party SIP technology providers, like Pervasip, to offer their services across the Nimbuzz open, universal communications platform. “We are very excited to become the first US-based premier partner to integrate our cloud-based SIP mobile calling software with Nimbuzz,” said Pervasip’s Chief Information Officer, Mark Richards in a statement. “A smooth and easy download, people appreciate having a phone line from VoX, which gives them a second phone number, a second voice mail box and low-priced VoIP calling plans that run over both the 3G and WiFi data networks. We see reports of daily sales for approximately 200,000 Android phones.” Every Nimbuzz Android download will also feature the VoX logo as the second icon on the SIP providers list within the installed Nimbuzz application. Shares of Pervasip are down roughly 60 percent over the past three months.

Shares of SOHM, Inc. (Pink Sheets: SOHM) were up more than 42 percent from Monday’s closing price on Tuesday on volume 10,568,984. SOHM shares’ average three month trading volume is 165,398. The generic drug maker today announced the addition of six new generic pharmaceutical products targeting asthma and respiratory disease. “”The market for respiratory products in India is huge,” stated Shailesh Shah, Vice President for Corporate Strategy at SOHM, Inc. in a written statement. According to a recent news release, India’s respiratory drug market size is approximately $600 million annually. Shares of SOHM, Inc. are up about 9 percent over the past three months.

Carbon Sciences, Inc. (CABN) – Micro-cap Buzz Stock of the Day

We first featured Carbon Sciences, Inc. (OTCBB: CABN) in early June after the Company announced on that it filed the first of a series of patent applications for its clean-tech CO2 based Gas to Liquids (GTL) fuel technology for transforming a combination of natural gas and carbon dioxide (CO2) directly into gasoline. Shares were up nearly 70 percent that day.

Shares of Carbon Sciences were up again today — trading roughly 37 percent higher than Monday’s closing price, in morning trading on Tuesday.

The company announced the successful synthesis of a proprietary raw catalyst, an essential step toward demonstrating commercial feasibility of Carbon Sciences’ GTL technology.

“A fully active and stable catalyst will be the key to our success,” said Dr. Naveed Aslam, inventor of the technology. “Synthesizing our proprietary raw catalyst is a vital step in a multi-stage catalyst synthesis and activation process,” he added.

GTL is a complimentary refinery processes that converts natural gas and other gaseous hydrocarbons into longer chain hydrocarbons such as gasoline. Carbon Sciences has estimated that they can produce 138 billion gallons of gasoline a year (the annual amount used in the U.S.) with 23 trillion cubic feet of natural gas and 586 million tons of CO2 without using crude oil or competing with current natural gas consumption.

“The production of this catalyst is the actual laboratory scale implementation of the catalyst formulation and its synthesis process disclosed in the patent,” said Byron Elton, CEO of Carbon Sciences, Inc. in a statement. “It is a major step forward for us.”

The funds are expected to be used to further GoIP’s GO800’s marketing efforts in USA/Canada, establish a GO800 subsidiary in China, and to launch GO800 in China in 2011.
