SIII strong, CMGR active, KOKX conked

Strategic Internet Investments Inc. (OTCBB: SIII) went skyward 284.62 percent in price to three cents Monday morning. Volume of 4,500 shares in the early going dwarfed its normal three-month daily average of 172. The Company has been devoting its business efforts to real estate development projects located in Bahrain and Turkey.

Camelot Entertainment Group Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) was chief among active traders in the microcap world early Monday, with 87.78 million shares changing hands. Normal daily volume is around 116.77 million The price for CMGR was flat, however, at three-100ths of a cent.

Koko Ltd (OTCBB: KOKX) was pointed downward Monday morning by 86.49 percent to 10 cents. Volume for the stock was 5,750 shares, close to its full-day average volume of 6,780. KOKX is engaged in the business of designing, manufacturing and marketing a steak timer.

PSS sparks on earnings news, MOT enjoys great volume, TRR trips

Collective Brands Inc. (NYSE: PSS) improved 15.86 percent in price to close Thursday at $20.38. Volume of 7,659,229 shares was five times its normal full-day average volume. PSS announced Thursday it earned $47.6 million, or 75 cents a share, on the period, up from $36.9 million, or 57 cents a share, in the same quarter last year.

Motorola Inc. (NYSE: MOT) was among the volume leaders late Thursday afternoon, trading in 51,736,649 shares, very nearly doubling its full-day average. MOT shares went down on the day, however, by 0.44 percent to $7.97. Motorola Mobility, the communications subsidiary of Motorola, today said it is buying home networking specialist 4Home.

TRC Companies Inc. (NYSE: TRR) gave back 8.83 percent in price Thursday to $2.58, on volume of 19,585 shares, nosing out its full-day average of 14,556. The Lowell, Mass.-based TRR is a recognized leader in engineering, consulting, and construction management services to the energy, environmental, and infrastructure markets

ECOC soars, ELCR sells, ADMZ slumps

Ecology Coatings Inc. (OTCBB: ECOC) leaped in price 125.23 percent to 2.5 cents. Volume of around 33,000 shares dwarfed its daily average of 14,300. The company, based in Warren, Mich., is a leader in the discovery and development of nanotechnology-enabled, ultraviolet-curable advanced coatings

Electric Car Company Inc. (OTCBB: ELCR) drove 59.26 million shares off the lot Thursday, compared to its daily average of 672,349. Shares in the company were flat at one-100th of a cent. ELCR, out of Springfield, Mo., is a vehicle conversion company that specializes in electric conversions and manufacturing for the Livery, Fleet and Private Specialty Markets

Adtomize Inc. (OTCBB: ADMZ) stumbled 55 percent in price to 27 cents Thursday. Volume of around 60,000 was considerably lower than its daily average of 613,333. The Company is engaged in developing an online advertising brokerage service to bring together traffic website publishers with companies wishing to place ads on them in order to drive traffic to their own Internet sites.

GMAN is good, GE gains, CIS subsides

Gordmans Stores. Inc. (NasdaqGS: GMAN) improved 17.27 percent in price to $15.96 in afternoon trading Thursday. Volume of 192,316 shares easily doubled its normal full-day average volume. The Omaha-based apparel and home décor retailer Wednesday announced third-quarter net income increased 10.7% over Q3 2009 to $4.3 million.

General Electric (NYSE: GE) generated a lot of volume Thursday afternoon, trading in 41,587,505 shares, but less its full-day average of 57,943,600. GE shares inched up 1.78 percent to $16.59.

Camelot Information Systems (NYSE: CIS) lost 9.60 percent in price Thursday to $22.31, on volume of 518,555 shares, or nearly twice its full-day average. CIS is a leading domestic provider of enterprise application services and financial industry information technology services in China.

CONN conquers, F popular, GFC sags

Conn’s Inc. (NasdaqGS: CONN) soared 18.89 percent to $3.84 in afternoon trading Thursday. Volume 503,156 shares nearly doubled its normal full-day average volume. Consumer electronics chain Conn’s Inc. said Thursday that its third-quarter loss narrowed to $5.1 million, or 23 cents per share, compared with a loss of $14.4 million, or 64 cents per share, during the same period a year prior

Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) had great volume Thursday afternoon, dealing in 60,101,842 shares, rapidly catching up on its full-day average of 83,619,400. Ford shares advanced 2.34 percent to $16.84. The carmaker announced today that consumer demand for its new lineup of fuel-efficient vehicles triggered a 24-percent sales increase in November, compared with a year ago, according to a news release from the company. Ford sold 147,338 units last month.

Genova Financial Group Ltd. (NYSE: GFC) dropped 13.69 percent in price early afternoon Thursday to $22.00, on volume of 87,124 shares, or nearly eight times its full-day average. The Bermuda-based bank announced last month a share consolidation on the basis of one ordinary share for every five ordinary shares of the company
