TRBX in gear, GERS grows, JAVO down

TRB Systems International Inc. (OTCBB: TRBX) vaulted in price Monday afternoon by 96.7 percent to 2.95 cents. Volume for the stock was 50,000, just shy of its daily average of 56,031. TRBX was established to produce and market bicycle, fitness and motorized two-wheel transportation products.

Greenshift Corporation (OTCBB: GERS) traded in 461.8 million shares Monday, in contrast with a daily average of 62.6 million. Share prices doubled to two-100ths of a cent, after U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued a Notice of Allowance for GreenShift’s corn oil refining process.

Javo Beverage Company Inc (OTCBB: JAVO) sank in price 69.7 percent to 42-100ths of a cent Monday, on volume of 8.1 million shares, dwarfing its daily average of 446,709, on word the company was filing for Chapter 11.


NVDA steps on gas, CSCO sizzles, REDF slides

Nvidia Corp. (Nasdaq: NVDA) shares added 12.1% to $24.90, after Barron’s said the chip maker’s stock might rise as much as 80% in the next year. Volume for NVDA was 29.1 million shares, better than its daily average of 22.3 million.

Cisco Systems Inc, (Nasdaq: CSCO) dealt in 25 million shares Monday, making headway against its full-day average of 72 million. Share prices moved higher 1.7 percent to $21.08, on word of its price target being raised at Barclays to $24 from $22.

Rediff.com India Limited (Nasdaq: REDF) dropped 8.4 percent to $7.39 Monday. Volume for the stock was 806,955 shares, just now nosing out its daily average. The Mumbai-based REDF is one of the premier worldwide online providers of news, information, communication, entertainment, mobile and shopping services.


GXDX runs up, GE bright, APP threadbare

Genoptix Inc. (Nasdaq: GXDX) shares rose 25.8% to $24.85 after Swiss drug maker Novartis AG (NYSE: NVS) said it would buy the cancer-diagnostic specialist for $470 million. Volume for the stock was 18.75 million shares, compared to a daily average of 461,835.

General Electric Company (NYSE: GE) dealt in 58.5 million shares Monday, surpassing its full-day average of 57 million. Share prices moved higher 1.4 percent to $20.02.

American Apparel Inc. (AMEX: APP) dropped 13.2 percent to $1.12 Monday. Volume for the stock was 794,910 shares, beating out its daily average of 578,569. The apparel maker is in talks to bring in an external restructuring adviser to try to revive growth and appease creditors.


SSCC in orbit, MSFT active, ONSM off-stride

Smurfit-Stone Container Corp. (NYSE: SSCC) shares climbed 27.3 percent to $35.03, on volume of 36,237,477 shares, or more than 40 times its normal daily avearge after Rock-Tenn Co. said it would buy the container-board producer for $3.5 billion

Microsoft Inc. (Nasdaq: MSFT) dealt in 19,891,427 shares Monday, gaining on its full-day average of 57,649,200. Share prices moved higher 1.4 percent to $28.40 after three more executives left the company.

Onstream Media Corporation (Nasdaq: ONCM) saw its shares tumble 12.1 percent to $1.23 near midday Monday. Volume for the stock was 140,996 shares, still better by 50 percent its daily average. ONSM is an online service provider of live and on-demand Internet video, corporate audio and web communications and content management applications.


MCET soars, CCTR busy, WFSC goes south

Multi-Cell Technologies Inc. (OTCBB: MCET) moved skyward 31.7 percent Monday to 1.04 cents. Volume for the stock was 32.6 million shares, in contrast to a daily average of 5.34 million. MCET has specialized in developing main liver cell immortalization technologies to produce cell-based assay systems for use in drug discovery.

China Crescent Enterprises Inc. (OTCBB: CCTR) dealt in 219.3 million shares, making it among the most widely traded of micro-caps Monday. Normal share average was 41.1 million. Prices reached 21-100ths of a cent, up 10.5 percent from Friday.

Weststar Financial Services Corp. (OTCBB: WFSC) retreated 80.8 percent to five cents Monday. Volume was 58,450 shares, or nearly 10 times its full-day average. The Company provides consumer and commercial banking services in Buncombe County and surrounding areas
