HASC hikes, TYRIA active, SECI smacked

Hasco Medical Inc. (OTCBB: HASC) rocketed higher by 75% Wednesday to 3.5 cents, on share volume of 127,700, compared to an all-day average of 37,701.

Trey Resources Inc. (OTCBB: TYRIA) was among the volume leaders Wednesday morning in the micro-cap field, trading in 73.9 million shares, compared with a daily average of 23 million. Share prices were stagnant, though, at one-100th of a cent. TYRIA consults small and medium-sized businesses.

Sector 10 Inc. (OTCBB: SECI) took a pasting Wednesday, losing 36.4% to seven-10ths of a cent, on share volume of 601,000, contrasted with an average of 438,432, a day after SECI acquired 100% of First Diversified Equities Inc.

GBR soars, F active, SATC sits

New Concept Energy Inc. (AMEX: GBR) climbed in price 43.3% to $9.69, on share volume of more than 204,000, dwarfing a daily average of 1,952.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) traded in 51.5 million shares Wednesday, compared to an all-day average of 79.0 million. Prices for F dipped 2.7% to $14.82, after announcing a recall of 144,000 F-150 trucks to correct airbag problems.

Satcon Technology Corp. (Nasdaq: SATC) shares tumbled 23% to $3.72, on share volume of 6.7 million, more than triple its daily average, after the natural-gas firm offered disappointing first-quarter guidance late Tuesday

GASS cooking, SIRI busy, UFPT underwhelms

StealthGas, Inc. (Nasdaq: GASS) shares jumped 7% to $7.01, on share volume of 52,000, pursuing a daily average of 72,429, after announcing net income of $11.1 million or $0.51 per share for fiscal 2010.

Sirius XM Radio Inc. (Nasdaq: SIRI) traded in 17.7 million shares Wednesday, compared to an all-day average of 51.1 million. Prices for SIRI subsided 1.7% to $1.69.

UFP Technologies, Inc. (Nasdaq: UFPT) shares slid 8% to $16.83, on share volume of 171,346, surpassing its daily average of 131,717, after it reported yearly net income of $9.2 million or $1.37 per diluted common share outstanding, 56% higher than net income of $5.9 million or $0.94 per diluted common share outstanding for its 2009 fiscal year.

DEP surges, C clicks, HSFT softens

Duncan Energy Partners LP (NYSE: DEP) shares climbed 23.4% to $40.17 on share volume of 655,000, more than eight times its average, after Enterprise Products Partners LP (NYSE: EPD) said Wednesday that it offered to buy its smaller rival for more than $2.4 billion.

Citigroup Inc. (NYSE: C) traded in 212.4 million shares, catching up on a full-day average of 544.2 million shares. Share prices dipped 0.6% to $4.66.

HiSoft Technology International Limited (Nasdaq: HSFT) shares capsized 23.3% to $24.09, on share volume of 729,000, or nearly triple its daily average, after it announced that it will provide a bad debt provision of $3.5 million, or approximately $0.15 to $0.16 U.S. per ADS, for 2010

TDSC number one, F does brisk trade, KSWS strikes out

3D Systems Corporation (Nasdaq: TDSC) shares zoomed 40.4% higher to $49.36, on volume of 973,494 shares, more than 10 times its daily average, after announcing its Q4 profits nearly tripled.

Ford Motor Company (NYSE: F) traded Thursday in 53.6 million shares, falling short of its daily average of 86 million. F prices were in reverse 0.3% to $15.93.

K-Swiss Inc. (Nasdaq: KSWS) lost 10.8% in price Thursday to $9.98. Volume was 620,716 shares, squashing a daily average of 96,950. The company reported today that net loss for the fourth quarter of 2010 was $20.6 million, compared to a loss of $12.5 million for the prior-year period.
