ADMT gallops, ILNS busy, GCMI trips

ADM Tronics Unlimited. Inc. (OTCBB: ADMT) soared 133.33 percent to 2.1 cents Monday afternoon. Volume for this microcap stock was 1.11 million, overwhelming its usual daily volume of 39,572. ADMT is a technology-based developer and manufacturer of diversified lines of products and derives revenue from the production and sale of environmentally safe chemical products.

Intellect Neurosciences Inc. (OTCBB: ILNS) was one of the busiest microcaps Monday, trading in 78.3 million shares, or nearly five times its normal daily average. Prices vaulted 10.5 percent to 21-100ths of a cent. ILNS is a biopharmaceutical company with an internal preclinical and clinical-stage pipeline and multiple licenses with major pharmaceutical companies.

Geos Communications Inc. (OTCBB: GCMI) took a header of 68.6 percent late Monday afternoon to 1.1 cents. Volume was 381,820 shares, more than 10 times its normal daily average. GCMI is a developer and distributor of mobile applications and communications services.

GKK gets some traction, S trades widely, GNI in the swamp

Consumers today will begin seeing TV advertising in a campaign touting the benefits of the company’s third 4G-capable smartphone.

Great Northern Iron Ore Properties (NYSE: GNI) dipped 21.6 percent Monday to $104.42. Volume for the stock of 121,377 shares proved 11 times its daily average, after Citron Research issued a negative report on the company.

PSTI leaps, INTC does brisk trade, EDMC sinks

Pluristem Therapeutics Inc. (Nasdaq: PSTI) shares gained 21% to $2.25 Monday. Volume of 1,292,669 shares proved more than eight times its usual volume, on word after National Securities initiated coverage of the maker of cell therapy products with a “buy” rating.

Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) traded in 33,375,408 shares, more than half its daily average of 55,527,400. Prices for INTC inched ahead 0.2 percent to $20.69. INTC today unveiled its Connected Store concept, a two-story, 2,400 square-foot futuristic retail storefront equipped with the latest technology for the retail and digital signage market segments.

Education Management Corp. (Nasdaq: EDMC) went south 16.7 percent Monday to $13.84. Volume for the stock of 526,570 shares far surpassed its daily average of 351,042. EDMC is a leading provider of post-secondary education.

HILL climbs, MSFT busy, CPLA schooled

Dot Hill Systems Corp. (Nasdaq: HILL) shares gained 28.6% to $2.43 Monday. Volume of 1,025,822 shares proved more than six times its usual volume, on word that the Colorado-based storage solutions company projects fourth-quarter net revenue in the range of $65.0 to $65.5 million, compared to previous guidance of $58.0 to $62.0 million. Non-GAAP gross margin is expected to be in the range of 21% to 22%, compared to previous guidance of 19% to 20%.

Microsoft Corp. (Nasdaq: MSFT) did great volume Monday, trading in 31,172,497 shares, more than half its daily average of 57,160,700. Prices for MSFT demurred 1.4 percent to $28.20. Microsoft Corp. today announced that business-critical Windows 7 applications for the retail and hospitality industry will be demonstrated in its booth (No. 836) this year at the National Retail Federation’s 100th Annual Convention & Expo.

Capella Education Company (Nasdaq: CPLA) sustained a loss of 18.4 percent Monday to $54.79. Volume for the stock was 956,579 shares or nearly quadruple its daily average. CPLA provides exclusively online post-secondary education through its wholly-owned subsidiary Capella University.

MHAN moves, GERS popular, CVSL stumbles

Manhattan Pharmaceuticals Inc. (OTCBB: MHAN) skyrocketed 341.2 percent Monday to 7.5 cents. Volume for the stock was 1.68 million, compared to a mere 57,892 shares on average, on word that the company entered into a settlement and release agreement with Nordic Biotech Fund II K/S and H Pharmaceuticals K/S.

Greenshift Corp. (OTCBB: GERS) traded in 122.01 million shares, nearly double its daily average. Shares traded at one-100ths of a cent, or half of where they closed Friday. GERS develops and commercializes clean technologies designed to address the financial and environmental needs of its clients by decreasing raw material needs.

Cardio Vascular Medical Device Corp. (OTCBB: CVSL) went for a dive of 57.22 percent Monday afternoon to eight-10ths of a cent. Volume for the stock was 382,400 shares, compared to its usual volume of 35,474 shares. The business plan of CVSL is to develop a medical device application utilizing a patent pertaining to a maneuverable coiled guidewire.
