CGSYQ takes flight, CMGR big on volume, ESYR price halved

Capital Growth Systems Inc. (OTCBB: CGSYQ) climbed 525 percent to 25-100ths of a cent Monday. Volume of 1.73 million shares triumphed over its usual full-day average of 236,466. The Chicago-based CGSYQ is a leading telecommunications information and logistics company.

Camelot Entertainment Group Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) did good business Monday, trading in 214.03 million shares, surpassing its usual full-day average of 161.76 million shares. The studio announced Monday that gross sales are expected to top 2,200,000 for 2010, with revenues expected to exceed $500,000.

EcoSystem Corp. (OTCBB: ESYR) took some punishment on Monday markets, losing 50 percent in price to one-100th of a cent. Volume of 3.33 million was way below its daily average of 19 million. ESYR is innovating industrial-scale applications of bioreactor technology that are designed to resolve compelling ecological challenges while producing valuable products.

JTX bounces, F trades, NBG slumps

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. (NYSE: JTX) gained 13.57 percent in price Monday to $1.59. Volume of 3,350,769 shares more than quadrupled its full-day average. Based in Parsippany, N.J., JTX is an industry-leading provider of full service individual federal and state income tax preparation.

Ford Motor Co. (NYSE: F) traded in 27,160,761 shares, making it a volume leader, but still well below its daily average of 83,535,700. Share prices for the car maker moved up a mere 0.54 percent to $16.89. Ford said Monday U.S. auto sales in December are running at a 12-million unit annual rate, and it forecast sales to rise to almost 13 million next year.

National Bank of Greece SA Spon (NYSE: NBG.PA) gave back 5.55 percent in price Monday to $17.01, on volume of 165,026 shares.

ARNA stronger, HBAN volume leader, RXII tumbles

Arena Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Nasdaq: ARNA) pushed upward 23.64 percent in price Monday to $2.04. Volume of 14,985,720 shares nearly doubled its full-day average. The San Diego-based ARNA is a clinical-stage biopharmaceutical company focused on discovering, developing and commercializing oral drugs that target G protein-coupled receptors.

Huntington Bancshares Inc. (Nasdaq: HBAN) traded in 27,626,739 shares, bested its daily average by a half. Share prices for HBAN moved moderately ahead 4.98 percent to $6.54. Columbus-based HBAN is a $53-billion regional bank holding company

RXi Pharmaceuticals Corp. (Nasdaq: RXII) stumbled in price 11.43 percent Monday to $2.79, on volume of 705,157 shares, nearly quadrupled its full-day average. RXII is a recognized leader in RNAi-based therapeutic discovery and development

NWBD strides, GERS moves, TYRIA falls

New World Brands Inc. (OTCBB: NWBD) rocketed 400 percent in half a cent Monday. Volume was 2.07 million shares, or 10 times its full day average. The company is a telecommunications sales and service company, focusing on products and services utilizing Voice over Internet Protocol ‘VoIP’ technology.

Greenshift Corp. (OTCBB: GERS) dealt in 219.75 million shares Monday, more than quadruple its daily average. Share prices were halved to one-100ths of a cent. GERS develops and commercializes clean technologies.

Trey Resources Inc. (OTCBB: TYRIA) found its share prices were halved to one-100ths of a cent, on volume of six million shares, in contrast with a daily average of 16 million shares. The New Jersey-based TYRIA is involved in the acquisition and build-out of technology and software companies.

CHTP jumps, CSCO trades wide, BLTI tumbles

Chelsea Therapeutics International Ltd. (Nasdaq: CHTP) zoomed higher 19.13 percent in price Monday to $7.16. Volume of 3,471,695 shares better than tripled its full-day average. The Charlotte-based CHTP announced it has completed a pre-NDA assessment with the FDA and intends to accelerate its new drug application (NDA) for NORTHERAâ„¢(droxidopa) for the treatment of symptomatic, neurogenic orthostatic hypotension.

Cisco Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: CSCO) was busy early Monday afternoon, trading in 26,465,845 shares, making headway against its daily average of 71,898,900. Share prices for CSCO crept ahead 0.69 percent to $19.68.

BioLase Technology Inc. (Nasdaq: BLTI) fell in price 11.05 percent Monday to $1.69, on volume of 64,212 shares, approaching its full-day average of 78,005. BLTI, based in Irvine, Calif., is the world’s leading dental laser manufacturer and distributor.
