ADES goes skyward, MGM does loads of business, AMN trips

ADA-ES, Inc. (Nasdaq: ADES) tacked on 11.05 percent in price Monday to $10.85 Volume of 378,513 shares proved more than 12 times its full-day average. ADES announced that the Tax Relief and Job Creation Act of 2010 extended the “placed-in-service” date for the Section 45 tax credits by two years to January 1, 2012.

MGM Resorts International (NYSE: MGM) traded in 29,662,833 shares, making it a volume leader, but still below its daily average of 35,939,000. Share prices moved up 4.55 percent to $14.27. MGM is one of the world’s leading global hospitality companies, operating a peerless portfolio of destination resort brands, including Bellagio, MGM Grand, Mandalay Bay and The Mirage.

Ameron International Corp. (NYSE: AMN) gave back 8.11 percent in price Monday to $77.29, on volume of 195,639 shares, nearly triple its daily average. AMN is a multinational manufacturer of highly-engineered products and materials for the chemical, industrial, energy, transportation and infrastructure markets.

CGSYQ takes flight, CMGR big on volume, ESYR price halved

Capital Growth Systems Inc. (OTCBB: CGSYQ) climbed 525 percent to 25-100ths of a cent Monday. Volume of 1.73 million shares triumphed over its usual full-day average of 236,466. The Chicago-based CGSYQ is a leading telecommunications information and logistics company.

Camelot Entertainment Group Inc. (OTCBB: CMGR) did good business Monday, trading in 214.03 million shares, surpassing its usual full-day average of 161.76 million shares. The studio announced Monday that gross sales are expected to top 2,200,000 for 2010, with revenues expected to exceed $500,000.

EcoSystem Corp. (OTCBB: ESYR) took some punishment on Monday markets, losing 50 percent in price to one-100th of a cent. Volume of 3.33 million was way below its daily average of 19 million. ESYR is innovating industrial-scale applications of bioreactor technology that are designed to resolve compelling ecological challenges while producing valuable products.

NWBD strides, GERS moves, TYRIA falls

New World Brands Inc. (OTCBB: NWBD) rocketed 400 percent in half a cent Monday. Volume was 2.07 million shares, or 10 times its full day average. The company is a telecommunications sales and service company, focusing on products and services utilizing Voice over Internet Protocol ‘VoIP’ technology.

Greenshift Corp. (OTCBB: GERS) dealt in 219.75 million shares Monday, more than quadruple its daily average. Share prices were halved to one-100ths of a cent. GERS develops and commercializes clean technologies.

Trey Resources Inc. (OTCBB: TYRIA) found its share prices were halved to one-100ths of a cent, on volume of six million shares, in contrast with a daily average of 16 million shares. The New Jersey-based TYRIA is involved in the acquisition and build-out of technology and software companies.

CEYY flies, UNDT busy, ECOC sheds

Fresh Start Private Management Inc. (OTCBB: CEYY) leaped 221.43 percent Monday to 18 cents. Share volume was a whopping 1.46 million shares, more than 11 times its full-day average of 122,125. The Calif.-based CEYY is a leader in the alcohol treatment and rehabilitation industry.

Universal Detection Technology (OTCBB: UNDT) saw its shares fly off the shelves in early Monday afternoon trading, doing volume of 255.07 million shares, trampling its normal volume of just under 16 million. Prices for the stock rocketed up 66.67 percent to five-100ths of a cent. UNDT, based in Los Angeles and a developer of early-warning monitoring technologies to protect people from bioterrorism and other infectious health threats and provider of counter-terrorism consulting and training services, announced today that it has entered into a distribution agreement with Brazil-based ORMAX Tecnologia em Seguranca.

Ecology Coatings Inc. (OTCBB: ECOC) slumped in early afternoon trade Monday, dumping 57.14 percent in price to 1.5 cents. Volume for the stock was 54,830 shares, compared to a daily average of 16,324. The Michigan-based ECOC is a leader in the discovery and development of nanotechnology-enabled, ultraviolet-curable advanced coatings.

ICGN moves upward, C busy, ULTR slips

Icagen Inc. (Nasdaq: ICGN) vaulted 33.79 percent in price Monday to $1.94. Volume of 1,107,887 shares quadrupled its full-day average. The North Carolina-based drug company today provided an update on its sodium channel program for pain and related disorders, which is being conducted in collaboration with Pfizer.

Citigroup (NYSE: C) was a volume leader Monday, trading in 207,906,616 shares, making progress against its daily average of 556,140,000. Share prices for Citi eased 0.11 percent to $4.70. Citi today announced a multi-year renewal of its long-standing U.S. private label credit card partnership with The Children’s Place Retail Stores Inc., the largest pure-play children’s specialty apparel retailer in North America.

Ultrapetrol Ltd. (Nasdaq: ULTR) fell 13.95 percent Thursday to $6.45, on volume of 336,901 shares, five times its full-day average. Ultrapetrol announced today its intention to offer to sell, subject to market and other conditions, $60.0 million aggregate principal amount of its Convertible Senior Notes due 2017.
