TRBX in gear, GERS grows, JAVO down

TRB Systems International Inc. (OTCBB: TRBX) vaulted in price Monday afternoon by 96.7 percent to 2.95 cents. Volume for the stock was 50,000, just shy of its daily average of 56,031. TRBX was established to produce and market bicycle, fitness and motorized two-wheel transportation products.

Greenshift Corporation (OTCBB: GERS) traded in 461.8 million shares Monday, in contrast with a daily average of 62.6 million. Share prices doubled to two-100ths of a cent, after U.S. Patent and Trademark Office issued a Notice of Allowance for GreenShift’s corn oil refining process.

Javo Beverage Company Inc (OTCBB: JAVO) sank in price 69.7 percent to 42-100ths of a cent Monday, on volume of 8.1 million shares, dwarfing its daily average of 446,709, on word the company was filing for Chapter 11.

GXDX runs up, GE bright, APP threadbare

Genoptix Inc. (Nasdaq: GXDX) shares rose 25.8% to $24.85 after Swiss drug maker Novartis AG (NYSE: NVS) said it would buy the cancer-diagnostic specialist for $470 million. Volume for the stock was 18.75 million shares, compared to a daily average of 461,835.

General Electric Company (NYSE: GE) dealt in 58.5 million shares Monday, surpassing its full-day average of 57 million. Share prices moved higher 1.4 percent to $20.02.

American Apparel Inc. (AMEX: APP) dropped 13.2 percent to $1.12 Monday. Volume for the stock was 794,910 shares, beating out its daily average of 578,569. The apparel maker is in talks to bring in an external restructuring adviser to try to revive growth and appease creditors.

CLDA jumps, C busy and sells, WWE pinned

Clinical Data Inc. (Nasdaq: CLDA) shares rallied 57.68 percent Monday to $23.70. Volume was 7,637,288 shares, overwhelming a daily average of 240,736, after the company’s antidepressant received approval Friday from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Citigroup Inc. (NYSE: C) dealt in 104,749,584 shares, compared to its full-day average of 552,485,000. Share prices dipped 0.6 percent at $4.86, on word that today may be the last day of Uncle Sam’s ownership ties to Citigroup.

World Wrestling Entertainment Inc. (NYSE: WWE) shares lost 9.48% to $12.22. Volume for the stock was 791,108, more than twice its full-day average, after the producer of wrestling matches late Friday projected fourth-quarter earnings below expectations.

TIGE is a tiger, DTRO makes dent, DGNG in the dust

Tigrent Inc. (OTCBB: TIGE) zoomed 150 percent higher in price Thursday to 20 cents, making it one of the improvement leaders among micro-caps. Volume for the stock was 29,700 shares, more than double its daily average. TIGE is a provider of educational training seminars, conferences and services across multiple delivery channels that help students become financially literate.

Deltron Inc. (OTCBB: DTRO) bought and sold 57 million shares Thursday, or better than triple its daily average. Its price hike was impressive, too; 54.6 percent to 17-100ths of a cent. DTRO acquires profitable businesses with strong management teams, substantial revenue and established market positions.

Diguang International Development Co. Ltd. (OTCBB: DGNG) capsized 72.7 percent in price to 12 cents. Volume for the stock was 30,000; its usual daily average is around 11,000. Chna-based DGNG is a developer and producer of CCFL and LED backlights for a wide range of TFT-LCD products.

FUQI goes farther, INTC trades widely, LPHI under spotlight

Fuqi International Inc. (Nasdaq: FUQI) improved 14 percent Thursday to $5.73. Volume of 1,098,559 shares was a 40-percent boost on its full-day average.

Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) was a volume leader Thursday, dealing in 37,626,398 shares, short of its full-day average of 55,284,200. Share prices skidded 0.6 percent, however, to $20.89, on word the chip-maker was seen as winning E.U. acceptance for its deal to acquire McAfee.

Life Partners Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: LPHI) shares peeled off 17.2 percent to $12.45. Volume was 539,205 shares, triple its daily average, on word the company is under investigation by the SEC.
